What is lifetime limited warranty?

A limited lifetime warranty is a guarantee to repair the product if found defective in material or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the product. If a product has been discontinued and is no longer available, the warranty is valid for 3 years past the discontinuation date.

1. Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, modification, or acts of nature. Any alteration to the product without prior written approval from NOVA Hardware will void this warranty.
2. Claim Procedure: In the event of a warranty claim, please go to our website and fill out a warranty claim form first, then contact our customer service department at (718) 414- 6181 or Info@novahardware.com. You will be required to provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue. Upon approval, NOVA Hardware will repair or replace the defective part or product.
3. Labor and Installation: This warranty covers only the replacement or repair of defective parts and does not include any labor or installation costs.
4. Finish Warranty: Our finishes are warrantied against peeling, blistering, or corroding under normal use for a period of 3 Years. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, exposure to harsh weather conditions, or improper maintenance.
5. Transferability: This warranty is non-transferable and is only valid for the original purchaser of the product.
6. Limitation of Liability: NOVA Hardware shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damage arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the product.
7. Governing Law: This warranty is governed by the laws of New Jersey, and any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.
8. This limited warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for Nova door hardware products. No other warranties, expressed or implied, are made, including but not limited to any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
